Lore & game mechanics

Post by Valverrin » 13 Feb 2018, 11:40

As I still wait to receive an answer from the loremaster let's discuss the topic ourselves :) .

Death. How do you roleplay the ineviteble end of your character? Do you play a seriously wounded guy later saved by companions? Or do you wake up with no wounds but losses in memory similar to those described in lore section? Is anyone hardcore enough to start\play a new character if yours was lost in a special roleplaying event (like an execution)? What are your thoughts?

Also I'd like to note that my question in directed to roleplayers only. I'm not interested in discussing game rules or specific mechanics. I'd be glad to hear honest opinion on how you play around specific sharp corners of game mechanics though.

Hi. It depends on how hardcore your RP style is.

And well, yes, we are not discussing gameplay mechanics, BUT actual gameplay completely fits current lore: death is nothing more than a chance to start over. Epleland is a special place after all ;) .
