LiF Database Application

Post by Kossako » 19 Jul 2014, 19:37

Hello.

Was bored so I decided to browse Life is Feudal client data to see what I could find. Found a lot of useful information including all game objects, recipes, skill and abilities. Bobik confirmed it's actual data (copied from server to client) and agreed to release that kind of application to the public.

Was using it for some time but just recently had some time to polish it a bit a make a lot more readable.

Application enable you to browse all game objects with recipes:

Skills and abilities:

Work is still in progress.
If you will find any bugs just let me know y PM or in this thread.
Remember that this data is loaded into application each time you run it so after a path it might stop working for some reason... And if you find something missing then in 90% cases it's not already implemented so not in game files I'm loading it from.

How to run:
1) Download exe file.
2) Put in main Lif Client or Lif:YO folder (where cm_client.exe or yo_cm_client.exe is located)
3) Run and enjoy

Download link:
http://big-t.org/kossako/LiFdatabase.exe

Edit: You need to download images from image shack to see them (premium needed to view directly...)
Added direct link to download exe.

Edit2: Added info about starting tool and resulting quality. Still Alchemical Glassware recipe looks normal.

EDIT3:
Thanks to Hambeast for setting up FTP space for me. Download location is now moved and I hope will stay there ;)

I'll be downloading this now,
I really hope it has level requirements for all crafting recipes.

If it does, this data is going directly into the LiF Wiki!

When looking at alchemical glasware, any idea what means "quantity" when it comes to kiln or glasblowers tool?

Could it be the necessary quality of the tools?

Quantity in tools and devices means durability hit (confirmed by Bobik). Will change description in next release.

There's a durability hit on devices? That's very interesting.

Are there any sources of how much durability a device possess?

You can't check quality or durability(?) on devices right now. Sounds like you need to repair devices from time to time.

We decided to turn off devices durability hits for now, since there is no adequate "repair" ability for buildings/devices

Very nice tool indeed! I would like to suggest, that when you close the tree of items, once you reopen it, all other categories are closed again, a little option for quick and clear navigation instead of scrolling down and looking for other categories.

Thanks for this!

@Edit: In far future you could also add player model to view items (eq, tools) how they look like as well.

this is awesome! Two things I would like to see however.

1. a search feature
2. scrollbar on the right pane

Also I am getting reports of this app crashing on windows 8.1 I can't replicate as I am running 7

Did you drop the executable in the proper folder as per the instructions?

Would love to try this, but it seems that you've exceeded your Google Drive quota.

Could you or somebody host this on another site like mega or somewhere else ? This tool might get a lot of traffic generated.
