How much durability had your knife? crafting 1 rep kit drains 2 durability and I can imagine if the knife has something between 0.1 and 1.9 it could cause problems

Because the knife is not durability.

If someone hasn't told you by now.. it's more than likely due to building maintenance on your skill tree haft to have 60 in mason to start making them..
