Aight good evening guys, my name is Thomas Haugeland, soon 21 years old from Norway, currently in the Norwegian army at the border to Russia.

I am a hardcore gamer, mostly FPS but has had my fair share of MMOs, the most notable being UO, Shadowbane, AC, TCoS, Archlords and MO, have beta tested alot of games cause i like the game to be in the best possible condition when it goes live.

Ive also spent many hours in single player games like Morrowind, Oblivion, Gothic series and M&B series.

Now it might be the time to conquer this game once its out.

Name is Uzik, full RP name is Uzik al-Jhamin ibn Yaraq. Name comes from Asheron's Call, which is the MMO I've probably spent the most time playing.

Most recent MMO was Darkfall, but unsubbed a few months ago after I got fed up with the bull the devs had been pulling.

Hoping that this game doesn't go the way of Mortal Online and not get enough funding, or the way of Darkfall and ignore their fanbase.

My name is Blah64. I'm a college student in California. I am a fan of sandbox MMOs. I found out about this game from the Dawntide forums(I'm still very sad it was delayed, even though it was for the best).

So yea, that's me.

Hey guys,
I'm Watson, a 19 year old British student. Played Roma Victor, LOTRO, Face of Mankind and very briefly Xyson. Was directed here from the community forum of RV refugees and this shows a lot of promise. Also played a lot of Mount and Blade as it seems most people on here have as well.

I'm Italian old Player of MMORPG, i play at Daoc, WAR, WoW and now i'm playing at SWTOR.

I'm tired about Them Park MMORPG and really want a different experience, DAOC is my best experience in Gaming.

In my opinion for a hardcore gamer this is the future, i stay here for play, build and help this project ^.^

Came on ^^

I am Nicholas Sherman. I live in South Carolina, US. I work in the rental furniture business and love to unwind after a long 15 hour day with a good community on a mmo without falling behind because of the lack of time to grind skills.

Glad to see a community getting built here to support a game that, in all hopes, will pull a large fan base when its complete.

Been playing a bit here and there with Wurm and the community building and crafting to support a war effort has been the best experience with an mmo to date. Hope this game can live up to the expectations that have been put on it already as its being developed.

Im going to be checking in often here to catch the first chances to jump into any buggy game play I can and hope I can support with some ideas of my own before it gets there. Wish I had more available time to help out with some of the coding, just dont wish to commit to anything I cant follow through on.

I am from Macedonia. I was born very young :). I have been working for a several years as jeet kune do and self-defence coach. Also I am a archaeologist (student). In my free time I like to draw, very much. I have started playing games when I was 4 years old. I grow up with Super Mario and Contra and up until now with Assassins Creed Revelation. I have played a lot of games based on MMO or MMOrpg and a little bit of sandbox, because there isn't much sandbox in this times.

- Haven and Hearth
- Darkfall
- Age of Conan
- Wurm
- Little bit of WOW, but I don't like it very much.
- and much more.

I'm a long time sandbox game player,
played Wurm Online since its conception.

It died for me when Notch left, and unfortunately he made Minecraft. Great game, way too fast paced to be rewarding.

I've played about every other MMO out there, and after playing wurm and having teraforming, and mining, Nothing else compares.

I've been following LiF for a while now, just now got on the forums.... I can not wait for testing and to get my hands on an actual sandbox game that hopefully wont be ruined with npc's and magic.

Introduce yer self peasant!

Post by Natchos » 08 Nov 2012, 20:54

Hello everyone, I'm Natchos.
I'm from Sweden and came here through a link posted on the forum of the website of the game Dawntide (which was in development up until March this year when the money ran out), posted by Lord Wiese. Thank you Wiese.

I've been gaming for 4 or so years and my sandbox experience started a couple of years ago with the launch of Darkfall online. Recently my appetite have shifted from FPS and "normal" strategy games to games of a slightly more complex nature (grand strategy games and sandbox games.)

I came here because this game looks interesting and also because I'm an aspiring C++ programmer/game developer so I hope to learn something here.

Introduce yer self peasant!

Post by Vestia » 14 Dec 2012, 20:27

Greetings fellow gamers.

I am Vestia, I'm a student studying IT B-Tec Level 3 (Covers stuff like basic coding, web design, graphics, business etc.) and from the United Kingdom, more specifically London, England. I've been following this came for a few months now and was instantly hooked at the whole sandbox genre this game has, and it also has medieval setting (My favorite). I've played many games from my time, and many genres, whether it be real-time strategy, first person shooter or an MMO, I've been there. Although in the recent years my taste for most MMO's and other genres has dropped dramatically just because of the repetition and boredom of most titles, I've been hooked onto the sandbox genre for quite some time now and play games such as Mortal Online and Darkfall Online and currently waiting for the Darkfall: Unholy Wars closed beta which apparently releases this monday (After such a lame delay an hour before official release).

I would such like to give a shout out to Bobik and all the other developers working on this project a great job, you're doing awesome so far and even though it is far from done and still room for plenty of improvements and suggestions, I hope this game becomes a large franchise and open to many new members in the near future. I'll be glad to help out in anyway I can, if that be testings and looking for bugs, or simply helping with ideas for the game.

Hello, fellow sandboxers! I first heard about this game about a year ago, but I thought it looked quite low-budget back then. Now I see it has progressed pretty well, and I can't wait to see how all the planned features will work out. Great job, developers, I hope you'll succeed!

Introduction - Lofi

Post by Lofi » 11 Apr 2013, 20:10

Greetings everyone.

I'm an elder. My earliest online gaming experiences was had on a multitude of MUD's, settling on one called CastleMUD and helped a bit on New Castle MUD. Going by the name Gnafs/Dezander, nick I still use from time to time. This was early 90's.
Played a lot of NWN online, on a server called Exaria (RP req). Since then it's been a wide variety, as well as varied lenght of stay, of MMO's; WoW, LotrO, AoC, UO, SWG, DAoC, SWToR .. to name a few.

I'm from southernest Sweden working as an Engineer in piping, plumbing and ventilation. I meddle in local politics, am on the board and manage a team for a sports club, I try to get time for some Viking combat.

I'm liking most of what I see this game developing into. Starting from scratch in a persistent world is a dream come true.

Hello guys, Im Michael from Poland. I have 23 years old, and... What else, I am currently changing job, because my current job is a nightmare.

I'm a gamer, loving fantasy and sci-fi games, mostly RPGs and some mmorpgs, but the truth is there are no good games made really for people, most are made for money, and recently there were few releases which proved, that big companies are able to release unfinished products to get money fast, I hate that..

I love good music, all kinds, movies also sci-fi and fantasy, I can spend endless hours in these imaginary worlds.

Ok enough of me, I just hope we will have good times here on forums and in-game once its open for us. I will stick here from now on, cheers!

Hi, everyone! I'm Samantha from the Philippines! I'm 20-something, with a full time writing job!

I love role-playing games, and I love high fantasy. I enjoy playing mage classes in most games, but I find it fascinating that Life is Feudal has a low magic (or perhaps some would say no magic) world! I've been looking for a sandbox game that I'd fall in love with, because theme park massively multiplayer online games are getting boring for me.

I read a lot of high fantasy novels, and I'm hoping to publish a book someday myself! I enjoy music, fashion, gaming, and tabletop roleplaying games!

Looking forward to exploring this enchanting world with you soon!
