Quality Algorithm for Buildings

Post by Dealman » 20 Mar 2019, 20:09

How does this even worked? Was it changed from LiF: YO? I'm trying to make us better smelting equipment since we've found high quality iron ore.

I've tried making a furnace with this;
• Level 60 Crafting (61.31)
• Q76 Primitive Hammer
• Q74 Plant Fiber
• Q88 Clay
• Q100 Water

Yet the furnace ends up with 8550 maximum durability - which equals to about a Q24 building?

Am I missing something here?

We're using Q70+ crucible when smelting Q88+ iron ore and it ends up Q37? Huh?

Q76 Primitive Hammer

Pretty sure the Primitive Hammer fucks the quality, like.. cuts it in half or something. Get you a Mallet or BS hammer.

This does indeed seem to be the case.

Doesn't that sort of render the Artisan skill absolutely and utterly useless to level beyond 60...? :fool:
