Obviously the MMO will be much bigger in area, but what about it's depth? I can mine downwards but not very deep and I end up standing in water... Will there be bedrock or will the MMO be a giant floating island like it is currently?

I think the current depth you can mine to is way too small...

Well, there's information on how many m³ there are for Iron, Gold, Silver and Copper deposits. Aswell as the size of the landmass in m².

I'd think the world depth could be the same, as the MMO-World will be absolutely huge, allowing large underground mines.

They were asking about the depth not the area above the x-axis of the world though. How far are we able to tunnel underneath the surface, the y-axis.

Obviously if you start mining from the top of a mountain you can mine alot deeper, but I am asking about the depth from sea level.

I dug a mine from aprox. 10 height fro observe mode, and I was only able to go down maybe 5-6 blocks... This seems way too shallow, and will the MMO allow digging a mine without having to start from a mountain?
