[POLL] Should the developers stop doing polls and go back to focusing on their own core vision?

Post by HolyAvengerOne » 22 Apr 2018, 16:23

Should the developers, Bobik first, stop doing polls and start implementing their own core vision for the game?

In other words, should Bitbox refocus on their core game vision and concept and avoid getting spread thin by listening too much to the community?

N.B.: listening less doesn't mean stopping to listen.

This Poll makes no Sense.
The Devs have been Focusing on their own Core Vision with little to no regards to any Feedback in the First Place.
And so far any Polls of the Devs have been things that either were Paths within that Core Vision anyways. Or have been Irrelevant to this Core Vision in the First Place.

It does make a lot of sense. Some of us believe they should stop making all those decisions based on players input, especially when it comes to fragmenting the player population and dev work.

I wonder how many vote it would take for the devs to take this one in consideration? Can we have a figure, Bitbox?

... That, plus the stuff they've mentioned in various interviews, posts, articles, etc. in the last 4 years.

Mate thing is.
What Decisions ????

If there is a Core Part of their Vision they aint making any Decisions based on Player Input anyways.
These Polls only come about for minor things and details they did not have a Core Vision for anyways.
There is no real Major Decisions done here that are influenced by the players.

Listen to the last 2 AMAs with Bobik, he says some of those decisions based on polls.

I think the more info you have to work with the better. I think people have great idea's and to not listen to them is not wise. The game is great and still has mind blowing potential for content to be added..
