Welcome to Starsider, a SWG (RP) inspired server with a Voice Role Play (VRP) focus. Lite RP is required, as gamers range from heavy to lite RP we want to try and create an environment where both gamer types can enjoy the story as it unfolds. Teamwork is paramount and lone wolfs are welcome but are expected to trade and ask for assistance when needed. This server and the rule set have been designed to encourage Role-play. We encourage our players to act as if you are living in a feudal world. Politics, Laws of the land, Wars and special events should be inspired and driven by the players.

All GM requests will be done via http://tinyurl.com/lifsupport , even support will be RP'd... Global is for event invites (via mass ravens) and OOC only. Meta is not allowed. Game play will be self policed and everyone is expected to be respectful when dealing with META and OOC situations. Crafting rates will be enhanced to focus on role-play.

Setting

After the great purging of humanity there wasn't any hospitable land left to populate. People set out to the seas to find new inhabitable lands, one place that was shrouded in mystery was the Isle of Lok. A long forgotten isle that was impossible to land at due to the jagged coral beds that surrounded it. Looking for a place to start anew, humanity had to brave the deathly coral beds in order to began Life again.

Now this is where your story begins, this is where your past can be forgotten and the future is in your hands. This is Your Own!

Server Expectations

• NO KOS - All engagements must be role played.
• No stacking items to gain entrance to Claims.
• No Greifing - Loot and scoot
• Roleplay Requirements - Voice Role play is highly encouraged, use every opportunity to RP as possible. Again NO KOS.
• Only ONE Character permitted - Having more then one character undermines the purpose for a skill cap. This is a ban-able offense.
• Naming Convention - Nicknames and various spellings are permitted, vulgar and names with numbers and/or special characters are not.
• Medieval Setting - Use all sort of references you can find to help support your way of governing, building, fighting, interactions. Not one way is correct, difference of ideas is why conflict occurs. You the gamer will dictate the politics!
• Game Moderators - GMs do not attack players and players should not attack GMs. GMs are to support the server NOT play god. Any GM discover abusing their powers will be relieved and replaced.
• Character Death - only occurs if you the player wish to start a new character. Otherwise death due to PVP or other means is to be considered as if you (your character) have been gravely wounded or incapacitated.
• Uproot Rule - Timing has been adjusted for this, please do it.
• No claims on Imperial Mountain - Everything else to include clay pits, other mines and resources are far game.
• Have fun - be mindful of others and join/forward the Starsider story.

A very nice server with good settings for solo or groups. Recently wiped and has a couple good groups. Some fun RP to be had. Come join and give it a try!
