A Unified West

Post by Vaku » 09 Dec 2017, 09:07

On December 5th, 2017, representatives of Iron Coalition, Ashland, and Meia Lua came together to speak on the activities of the world of Buyan. The leaders in the west acknowledged the wars that engulfed the Central Domain, the Southern Rocky Plains, and the Northern Wardens of the East. The leaders of the three communities took note of widening divides which formed between the old powers, and the leaders further noted the budding Blessed Order in their regional disputes. The leaders turned their attention to conflict between the rooted forces pitched in battle in the far southeast of Buyan—of how the challengers from the Southern Sea skirmished against the Arkhaya Authority.

In anticipation that attrition sets in among the best forces—that battles could not last indefinitely, that eventually Eastern eyes could turn west, the leaders put forward the resolution that an alliance was thereby the natural conclusion to secure a strong future in the west. The leaders in assembly drafted their boundaries, introduced each other’s practices, cultures, and standards, and ultimately arrived in agreement with a guiding understanding that with solidarity comes sovereignty—creating the macro political power, the Trident of the Sleeper.

Drifting Together

Post by Vaku » 13 Dec 2017, 10:30

On December 9th, 2017, the first Judgement Hour came into effect. An ordained time of battle, southern brigands of Buyan banded together in hostilities toward the skilled Kingdom of Hyperion. Met on the beach, the bandits of southern Buyan were pushed back into the sea and forced to retreat to their respective hideaways. Following this period of revealed aggression, the Trident of the Sleeper approached their regional kin and explored the boon of uniting against a common foe. The powers discussed how the increasingly sectioned world of Buyan would see a time where banditry would transition into fealty, as larger powers across the world would tighten their grip on independents. To the Trident of the Sleeper, the benefit of a long-lasting alliance revealed itself, and the young faction invited the Kingdom of Hyperion to share in its body of leadership. Through the new bond, the Trident of the Sleeper could additionally share in representing the Kingdom of Hyperion to the vast community and its share of the region to the world beyond.

The King Manus Dei of Hyperion accepted its role of leadership in the Trident of the Sleeper—through and through, increasing the assurances of each constituent member their sovereignty on the peripheries of Buyan.

You should go into politics, for the amount of stuff left out to make you seem like the good guys is staggering. It would seem you have not changed since the days of Darkfall, and proclaiming how everyone is against you and that you are always on the side of right. If you are going to continue to post this dribble, I will need you to issue us all some hip waders, for it is getting deep in here.

So go and re-write this, and make sure you put in the other stuff left out, like how you paid mercs to try to run guilds out of an area, so you could keep your hands clean. We will start with that one and go from there..

Now go, you have some writing to do.

Funny how there is no mention of the unprovoked raids, forest clear cutting, and strong arm tactics of the islanders to try and intimidate those of the mainland southeast into submitting to them. Nor how the same proclaimed ownership over lands that they neither settled nor developed, keeping to their island hideaway while sending their associated minions to harass anyone who did not pay them fealty. A rival alliance working against them clearly must be criminals and brigands, no matter that they've been working together since day one on their own claims.

Also funny how it wasn't mentioned that the only reason the judgement hour attack ended in a withdrawal was due to the bugs in the game preventing the activities supposedly permitted in realm and town claims. Everyone got bored and left.

It is part of their RP, which is funny to me anyway.

If you dont like it, write your sides RP point of view.

Oh and it isnt like their tactics are any different than the other guilds on this server. They just have a better PR department.

I seem to remember Hyperion running from the beach after their cavalry were pulled down to the ground and their knights butchered in their plate armor. I remember seeing the coward Waldo scream as he was cut down in his impotence. Hyperion who had only ever attacked when they more than tripled the numbers of those they raided were laid low when fought on equal footing. The Arkhayans left when judgement hr ended as Hyperion hid behind their walls.

Funny how you do not mention that wessex was the first ones to send mercs, which resulting in the retaliation of cutting down trees. The false king already proclaimed 6,7 to be his and has tried everything to get rid of those that will not bend the knee.

As for the end of JH, wessex is great at hiding behind walls when its even numbers. Thats all they do is hide behind walls and wait for their garrison to send double or triple the numbers. Same thing as darkfall, no talent zerg trying to proclaim they are better than all, just because they have numbers or someone else doing the fighting for them. Lets see the false king mannas come onto the field sometime, we all need a good laugh.

You all have some sort of obsession with Hyperion? This guy just tries to keep a listing of allies and you all invade en mass to talk smack because of your obsession with Hyperion?

You should go outside, enjoy the Sunshine a little. Go sing some christmas songs. Jesus!

More of the same lies.
Wessex and Hyperion have been the the aggressors in the SE.
They waged war via Black Arrow as proxy. I've spoken to King Manus Dei and it has been confirmed. I do not understand why you wish to continue this lie. You claim you wanted trade with your neighbors but only brought us war. Yes, we attacked your island as we found out you supplied BA. We don't hide behind other guilds nor should you. The honor of your Kingdom has been tossed aside for what? We had no grudges. Yes, we may not like a player or two in your ranks. You feared us and attacked first. Your alliance grows bigger with each passing day. For someone winning all the fights it's amazing how you need even more numbers. This all grows old, drop the lies.

Isn't two other threads of whining enough? Can we leave this thread to the intent of the OP?

A Bridge over Water

Post by Vaku » 28 Dec 2017, 01:30

Since the colonization of the Southern Drifters, the island kingdoms have kept in tight council. Over weeks, these kingdoms explored diplomatic options to empower their core island communities. Initial diplomacy established the Trident of the Sleeper—subsequent diplomacy would, however, prove more difficult. With absolute reticence to methods of subjugation, yet prioritizing vassalage of newer members, the island communities kept in contact.

The Order of Aeundover, which was the target of vassal-first diplomacy, proud, kept in good standing with the whole of the alliance, while all the while keeping from folding into the major alliance powers. In the meantime, pride was not the only leg the Order stood on, but was held aloft and propelled to a stronger position by the shrewd calculus of its leaders, Zed and Allectus.

December 18th, 2017, the Order of Aeundover declared itself the Kingdom of Aeundover. Despite all doubt the Order could develop into a sizeable Kingdom, with parity to other Trident Powers, the Kingdom of Aeundover prevailed, and it was accepted into the alliance at large, shouldering more than just responsibilities to its constituents, but to all members of the alliance.
