Volume adjustments for in game sounds?

Post by Remystemple » 17 Feb 2015, 00:53

Hey guys. i can' t stand how loud some of the stuff in game is. i'm wondering if there's a way to turn down individual sounds. the bloomery is way too loud, and other things. possible?

About the only way to do it right now is to directly modify the sound files in <steam folder>\Life is Feudal Your Own\art\sound\SFX.

Use a sound/music program like Audacity (free) and re-save the .ogg file with the amplitude turned down on the file. For the bloomery, i think you're looking for env_fire.ogg in that folder.

Edit:
I also noticed a env_fire_small.ogg in the folder, it is not as loud as the fire or over sounds, you can also copy it twice and replace/rename the fire and over sounds with the small and it will be quieter.

Hey thanks man. i do home recordings so i have Presonus studio one. and used it to reduce the volume of the individual sounds. thanks a ton. i hated how loud some of the stuff was. on a side note i already changed the eating sound to the equip sound a while back. lol. couldn't stand it.
