To keep it more balanced and based on prices before , One gold coins will require 4 lumps of gold . Same for Silver coins
So if minting was implemented , Jewelers could make following recipes:
Gold coins = 4 lumps of gold
Silver coins = 4 lumps of silver
Copper coins = 1 lumps of copper
Just Bring back ability to sell gold/silver back to crown! Why the ppl work so hard to dig that gold and devs change the rules without declare the changes BEFORE the do it, not after???
That’s why people that have access to gold/silver access should have a choice to either keep gold or sell it to the crown . Any resources out there are finite. Armor , tools etc that require iron which is also finite resource . Eventually it will run out . So that’s not really an explanation. We should have a choice . Gold and silver mines had a huge impact on feudal/medieval history
If you should be able to sell gold to crown, gold would have to be so scarce that it makes it not worth it doing that. Gold should only be used by guilds to make totems or to make jewelry.
Gold/Silver selling should been remove from the start or sell only lower price. It was much faster for me to dig up gold and sell it to crown, rather than create goods and sell it to AH. Gold/Silver selling was what made currency and AH useless.
But than how you supposed to get coins if you can’t mint them to purchase goods in the first place ? If minting was implanted from start the guild could make their own currency and get economy going . Now current sellable prices and items are a jokes . They should gave us heads up before making such change
They can bring selling gold & jewelry to crown back, but with the same price as other items:
gold & silver ring for 2s at 100q
gold ingot for 50-80s, etc
I love the new changes, it promotes trading propper trading not just selling to the crown to make easy money. This should cut down on mass claims from small guilds and personal claims all over the game world. PLEASE DONl'T CHANGE IT BACK!
I'd like to see some form of relatively inexpensive manner of trade to the crown, something that one or two people can get together and build up a stock to pay for a claim when portions of the player base go offline for a period of time whether it be vacation or other similar things....
The only thing I agree here, is for them to return sell to crown option, but prices should be aligned to other: gold ring for 3s at best, gold ingot no more than 50silver, etc.
YES please bring back gold and silver sales to the crown if not at least give us the option to pay for our claims with gods favor. I don't want want to spend all of my playing time scrounging up copper coins.
1 Lump of Gold is 1 Gold Coin ???
You Crazy.
This would give the Large Guilds the Ability to basicly just Print Unlimited Money....
The entire Reason they removed this. Is because the Economy is completely and entirely Dead.
Because Larger Guilds had absolutely Zero Reason to ever Sell anything to Players.
I Agree. That Selling Gold and Silver to the Crown should Return.
BUT. With Heavily Deflated Prices.
The Crown should ONLY Buy Gold and Silver as Ingots.
And Like in Medieval Reality. The Crown should Tax Gold and Silver Extremely Heavily.
Thus Gold and Silver Ingots only getting 10 and 5 Silver Coins at Quality 100 Respectively.
And before you Yell thats Scam.
Yes it is. Be happy. Back in the Day Gold and Silver was Reserved to the Crown. And any Trade with Gold or Silver not Sanctioned by the Crown would get you Executed.
When Sieges are Implemented and we have Large Guild Wars etc etc.
We can Talk about the Largest and most Powerful Countries. That have at least 3-5 Vassals.
Being allowed to Mint their own Coins. Which will then be carrying this Countries Name. And which will then allow them to get a Tax from their Vassal in exchange for Permitting them to Mint their Coins etc etc.
Right now. This would just Kill the Economy.
With the old Gold and Silver Selling to the Crown.
Money was Basicly completely Irrelevant.
Maintaining the Largest Guild Claim was like 5 minutes Work.
Sorry but thats just Bullcrab....
