I like the circular ( PIE ) menu idea.. with transparency option.

The square / rectangle / flat looks has been ok for alpha.. but this game needs some style to it. So I vote PIE with sub scroll wheel menu.. or something.

I like both flat and this UI

But I guess I like this UI better, because of the numbers and the small bar.
Rather than the big ugly bars on the bottom corners of the screen in "Flat"

Would it be possible to make on the primary option, but leave the option to switch interfaces. Me and several others have had problems with our interfaces displaying multiple global chats, MIA hotbar, or missing local and system tabs. In the f10 menu or some place would it be possible to add a reset interface to default layout or something to that effect. The only 2 fixes I have found is to delete the relevant interface file (HotBar.obj or ChatWindow.obj) another thing would make an editable template for the modder community. Thanks for your time.

I like the feel of this interface better than the flat one. It seems more "feudal". I really like the distinct highlighting and sawtooth/interlocking on the flat interface, though! If possible, it'd be nice to have the option to switch between them!

I like this one, but may I suggest multyple GUI themes? Like they are for Age of Empires II, the GUI is lergely the same but the theme of it changes depending on the culture you play with.
You could constantly add more and more themes for the players to choose from. And if your development team suffers from funding shortages you could release premium GUI's that have the same functionality but look pimp or something for a small amonut of cash or whatever. Honestly I don't want to give bad ideas but I have a vague idea how hard it can be for a new development team to get the monies.

I would prefer this one (I don't like the flat one), but only if you keep an option for the alpha GUI, as I think is less beautifull but more practical

Really like this design! The flat UI is also pretty cool as well. Might be interesting if you could change your interface under the options menu too though,

This GUI concept is very nice. Far more appealing to me than the 'Flat' GUI.

I love the combination of wood, iron and stone. The colors aren't harsh. The chiseled stone effect when an action is highlighted is a very nice subtle touch.

I myself am not keen on a PIE menu as the others suggested. I think it feels too.. 'Xboxy'.. for lack of a better word lol.

One person suggested releasing an editable template of the GUI for modders. I think this would be a great idea, it could add some great personal touches and really help with immersion in your character and chosen profession.
An Alchemist's GUI being very different from say, a Logger, construction builder, a blacksmith etc.

The volumetric one looks more stylish and professional to me than does the flat one. I think the flat version has too much of an angular zig zaggy look. Particularly with the smaller lists where it is, for me, harder to make the necessary visual separation between the adjacent lists because their frames "jigsaw" together like that. I like the fact that the volumetric one has much better framing of the option lists. Generally square boxes, or rounded square boxes, with fancyish borders are better...more in line with UI standards found in all software interfaces, and therefore more familiar.

I prefer the volumetric one because it is more beautiful and attractive. I also think it expresses the medieval theme more effectively...like signage commonly used to represent that era.

I vote for volumetric over flat.

If we are able to move all this around and set the hotbar vertical for example, then yes /signed. It looks really good!

I like this idea and it makes it look cleaner and more interesting. I, for one, would rather not have the circular one and would like to stick to the square. The compromise in this would be to add a feature that lets you pick which one you want for your display.
