it would be nice and helpful a software that allow you to place buildings, walls ecc basically anything you can place in game, in 3D.
in this way you can plan your village much better and you can have a better idea on how it could look like and on the defensive capabilities, since you can see it. if devs decide to implement this feature/software it would be really nice to have it before the mmo comes out, for obvious reasons.

4Seems like a natural feature for the architecture-skill.
You would be able to map out the area for larger building projects, then make a model or at least a map where you can plan how to locate your buildings.
Once you have finished other players would be able to interact with the plan and see how exactly to terraform and where which buildings have to be set.Like lloydbiii, BB_Underhill and heruwolf likes this post. -

0I used Inkscape to draw a map of our village. (*)

This was after the fact, and was extremely difficult with just "Observe" - though became easier when I learned to do "Observe" / / "C"
which puts you down to eye level instead of jerkily jumping around from building to tree etc where too much land is obscured.
(*) Only 2D. A Work In progress; Green circles for trees, with "A"pple and "M"ulbery indicated (and 2 "Ma"ple). I have to add 3 farm fields, etc - it is a never-ending chore!!
P.S. with, for example Inkscape, if we had a set of templates, i.e. the N x M of each building that we could duplicate and drag into place, this would become a modest planning tool. -

0Even a 2d planner would be nice, then have it as an option in observe to allow it to be painted on the ground.
Also make the planner a webapp so we can use it on our browsers and phones. Knowing how high somehting goes really wouldnt be an issue rright now right? (i am new to the game so, I am unsure if you can build 'up' really) -

0If cartography will be implemented, in observation mode there can be an option to mark a map as tiles with heights in 2D. Do the same while walking around and you get a nice height map in a larger area, so even it can help you decide which height shoud be set to flat in which areas. but bein able to put buildings to map for planning would be awesome -
