A way to detect placed animal traps.

-2
A way to detect placed animal traps in a way that you can at least be wary and start searching for them, doesn't have to be 100% detection but some way to say that this 3x3 area has a trap placed, like minesweeper.

Currently have some assholes in the area placing animal traps all over the place, specifically burying them so they aren't noticed. While a great harassment tactic, its also fucked up that now every tile in the game unclaimed is terrifying. To the point that I don't even want to go out of my area now.

No shit..... I'm talking about when they are buried under the ground. Every square becomes a threat, gonna dig up every single square for hundreds of tiles around!?

Don't think you should be able to detect them without some skill is say hunting. But maybe put a limit on how many you can place, and make them de-spawn after a week or some. (RL time)

As a Ranger, Every time I send a Noob Naked Lancer on a Spirited Sailing 50 feet over my head as he listens to the death wail of his horse, I laugh my head off.
Bear Traps don't need any nerfs. Bear traps can be seen just fine when you aren't riding at break neck speeds.
Putting a limit on how many you can place is crap also.

They simply need to make it so you cant bury them while still making them work.
    They dont need any Nerfs.

Some guild made 2000 traps and set them down over their server. 2000! That's why there needs to be a cap.
