Single/Multiple Villager Selection in 3rd Person

-2
Something I would like to see in game is being able to select single villagers or a group while in regular 3rd person and being able to give them some commands/ assign them to a specific task.

At this time, there's very little control over what the villagers are doing. The only way to get any control is in first person, where you can only tell one person what to do at a time and you're stuck with them the whole time doing whatever task you want them to do. In the mean time, I can't manage anything else in my village while I'm in first person. I'm also limited to only being able get one specific task at a time done (and done rather slowly, at that). I find this to be very inefficient when I have a number of things that need doing. Priority increase is super limited in what you can use it for and I find my villagers don't seem to always listen to it, anyhow. So, basically, there's hardly any control at this point.

A couple of examples of situations where I would find this sort of thing useful: Say, it's the middle of winter. My village is starting to get a bit low on food and firewood stores. Say, there's a few boars scattered around, outside the village. I could select some villagers and send them out to go hunt the boars and save the village from starvation. At the same time, I could send a villager or two to lend extra hands at the lumberjack's to get some extra firewood production asap so my villagers don't freeze to death. At the same time, I'll be able to get all these tasks done and still be able to oversee the village to make sure everything's in order. I also think this would be good to use for all the teenagers who otherwise just stand around all day doing nothing. I could more easily give them chores to do to help out the village. In late fall, especially, I like to use them to help gather all the extra mushrooms, fruits, and herbs nearby to help fill out the food/medicine stores for the upcoming winter. But currently, I'm very limited in how much they can do because I can only control the one villager at a time in first person.

First person can be fun and all, I like the immersion of it, but I don't like that it's the only control possible over villagers. I find it too limiting and inefficient in a game where every moment is valuable in order to ensure the survival of the whole village. I think that being able to select and control the villagers and give them specific things to do in 3rd person would be helpful.

I think that this would only be relevant in the first years of the game, and will make it easier and remove the need for careful planing.
