Building an area which people could duel and fight without alignment penalty could be interesting. Starting from a simple fighting pit and evolving to an arena and later a large colliseum which several warriors may challenge each other or even face captured dangerous wild animals. The immersion would work nicely and encourage kingdoms to challenge each other for Sport, placing bets and giving the chance to small kingdoms or wandering knights earn some gold.
