Currently there is a decent amount of animals in the game, but when the MMO comes out I'd like to see a wider variety of animals tied more to the terrain types they would be found in.
Please type in one animal type per reply. This will allow us to 'vote' per animal.

-1I'll follow up with a Komodo Dragon. A bit unusual, but this type of game needs some sort of a dragon for Knights to fight, and this beast fits the bill.
Yes. yes, I know. Not something associated with feudalism in Europe but there are other aspects of the game that don't fit either (like scale armor), or natives for that matter. They did exist during the feudal area though, and who knows, perhaps some of the stories of dragon fights were based on encounters with these creatures. -

5Whales.... for food and fuel.and bones Need something to hunt while on my ship.
I know actual whaling ships did not come about till the 17th century bur beached whales were harvested as far back as 3000b.c.
Also I am wondering if animals could progress to bigger ones like trees?
A cub grows in a few days to a small bear and then into a mature bear and then into a huge bear.
Many be they could breed in the wild by chance meetings of roaming animals. This could be used to have over populations and extinction in an area by over hunting. Note an area void of animals could then have a random animal restart where say 4 bear cubs could be re-spawned on the map. As the cubs grow and move they migrate into areas. All this rather than the "Oh my, another group of pigs are in the same place at the swamp again". This would make for great role play with people chasing off hunters to protect the wildlife. -

-3I'd also like to see Lions (African Lions) added to the southern part of the MMO. Where bears seem more appropriate for the northern and middle sections of the MMO map, they would be out of place on the southern section. -

3Another animal I would like to see added to the game is the Bison (either American or European). Where as the Moose is relatively solitary, the Bison is not. Seeing small herds on the open plain would be a fantastic add to the game. -

-1I like the whale idea but as a random event that happens on the server, provides a bulk amount of leather and blubber that could be used as a fuel source thats 2x better than charcoal,Large bones that can be used for archways or certain furniture ect.
something like this would bring players together either for the better or maybe for the worst. -
