With the addition of the "Object Rights Management" brings a lot more customization and guild management strategies. I am really enjoying locking down certain structures and even opening up some structures on the town claim so that new players still have access to minor objects.
My idea is to provide the ability for players to access a warehouse inventory without the need to enter the warehouse. We currently have two permissions, ability to access objects and ability to destroy objects. Add a third option to "Open/Close Door." We use a lot of our warehouses as a single drop point for specific resources. For example, say our farmer needs to drop off Flax Stem. All he needs is access to the warehouse inventory to drop off the stem. The Hunters can then take that stem and either process it or move it to a wardrobe within the warehouse. This can also allow me to grant more access to new players for dump points without actually giving them access to what's kept behind the doors.

1I agree with door opening being separate. Just my own two cents, it could either be a separate permission, OR perhaps slightly change the way doors operate and allow ALL to open doors regardless of permissions BUT have a way for those with permission to LOCK a door to keep unwanted people out.
That way with a simple right click on a building, someone with permissions can toggle access to doors on and off as desired, rather than needing to have the owner set all these permissions for each door to allow many different people in and out.
Making doors 'unlocked' will allow any and all people to open and close a door, toggling the door to 'locked'' would only allow those with permissions to access the building like it currently is...
