A Way To Check Guild Member's Alignment

4
I started a religious guild and wanted to accept players with 0+ alignment only, not only because of the sake of RP but also because I don't trust players with negative alignment. The problem is, after they join my guild I'm unable to check their alignment anymore without throwing them out and inviting them back in again. Would be nice if there was a better and more convenient way of finding out. Maybe it can be part of the inspect player feature? This feature would definitely be useful for the MMO version as well.

You don't trust them ? Why ? PvP is part of the game and doing it out of JH doesn't mean you're a griefer or anything like that. Nevertheless, I like the idea of seeing the alignment by inspection. Maybe thus remove the player name color ?

With my understanding of alignment, it does mean they griefed. Also I like the player name colors, inspection should just be for when you're in a guild.

Depends what you call griefing ("griefing" means using game exploits and other not very nice things to purposely annoy and worsten other players' game experience, like burrying trader carts, using floating logs..). You lose alignment when you commit a PvP action against a player that isn't marked as criminal, and that can happen to absolutly anyone : you wouldn't let your attackers get the first hit just so that you can retaliate and keep your alignment, would you ?

In order to grief, you're not require to exploit the game. Assaulting, murdering, and looting innocent people for no reason continuously is a form of griefing to me. Also if the person has done nothing wrong, there is no reason for me to attack him. If he however trespasses, I now have a reason to attack him without penalty. If he attacks me, I have a reason to attack him without penalty. Why would I jeopardize my alignment and have an increased skill loss just to get the first hit? If I die, I have more reason to kill him and destroy his skill points. Also why would I have a guild member that's a murderer who can be attacked by anyone without giving them a penalty and when he dies he gets an drastic skill loss which hurts our whole settlement?
