Left click - Attack right (right)
Mouse scroll down - Overhead attack (down)
Mouse scroll up - Jab attack (up)

At the very least, make this feature optional. Combat should be as responsive as can be. However, there have been times where I've done an attack which I didn't want to do because of the current mouse sway click combat. Not only can this current system ruin your entire combo very easily, but a single wrong move can get you killed. Therefore I highly recommend you add the button feature I'm suggesting. This change will greatly prevent that accidental mistakes from happening and therefore should be considered.
