Enchanced Piety Skill

Right now, the only things people who focus on piety can do are basic blessings, increase their own, and teleport home... not very fitting for a priest-focused character. I propose a wide array of new actions, and requirements to use them. To use any piety skill lisited, which would all be unlocked at around lv90 piety, you would need to have a postive alignment of at least 10 or greater. The higher alignment you have, the more potent blessings and such would be. The new actions are as follows:

Marriages - Mostly for RP, but both players might receive some small benefit, like an increase to luck or something?

Hold Mass - Would require a church to be built, a new type of structure which would look like... erm a church. A player with 90 piety could interact with the church to hold mass, there would be a 2-3 minute timer, and anyone within the church when the timer ended would gain buff to luck, regenerate all soft/hard stamina and soft health, and gain 1 alignment. Players would only be able to recieve this blessing once per in-game day.

Confession - Gives 2 alignment points to a orange-name alignment player. Does not work on red name (evil), white name (neutral), or green name (good) characters.

Pope/Cardinals only skill:

Excommunication - Can be used ONCE per in-game month to avoid abuse. Target suffers a large alignment hit and cannot benefit from blessings for 72 hours.

    piety skill isn't finished... a lot of new things will come with the MMO and I believe a mass will appear letting people getting an aligment bonus if they are in the same religious building as the priest... (religious buildings are incoming too)

    At 30 piety, maybe people need to choose a god to worship.
    This could add a lot to RP in game and also give another way to justify attack without alignment hits.
    Agree with the church and a resident minister needs to use this as a bond respawn point.

    Also churches/taverns/Inns etc in the MMO will be able to be on "personal claims" so no decay...so having a type of claim needs to be done for the YO version of the game. Why not no decay in a building for 72hrs if a person respawns to it. this way if they go away a long time it will start to decay, during the decay a new person can walk in and take over the abandoned business/church. This adds a lot ot the woodsmans hut or the hermit or the hunting cabin concept as well.

    When churches are built they need to be attached to a god/religion.

    I think this part is overpowered, except if the one is a evil character.
    Instead of a alignment hit, he could offer an unlucky "bonus". (All his actions take more time) and he could not be blessed for 72 hours.
    Then, we can think about a redemption system.
