At this moment players use WARDROBE as defense against arrows during siege.

Developers need to give us correct siege equipment.
Siege Mantlet object for players to move and place on the battlefield agisnt arrows.

Check this youtube, its a siege where they use Wardrobes as defense against arrows. View at Time 18:18 :

This destroys all immersive feeling of a medieval siege/battlefield.

Suggestion and solution of this problem:

Wardrobe:
* Wardrobes gets destroyed almost instant on arrow hits or have low damage resistance, breaks easy.

* Can not place wardrobe next to any or on siege equipment.

Siege Mantlet:

* Can take massive hits of arrows damage.
* Can be placed close to siege equipment.
* make the Mantlets cost less in resources or just the same as constructing a wardrobe.
* Characters move faster while carrying Mantlet, then with a wardrobe.

--------------------------------------------------------
Also please add more Siege equipment:
* Battering Ram
* Balista
* Catapult - diffrent ammo typ: scattering shot, stone, oil, rotten cow carcas, fire, beehive/ wasphive.
*Boiling Oil on walls & gates.
* Pallet of stones that can be thrown over walls on attacker.

Diffrent kind of banners to organize us on the battlefield.
Diffrent kind of signs on them. for exampe a Arrow for a group of Archers. Or a Sword for melee infantry.

    Yes these are all great ideas , I hate seeing people use boxes for drawbridges because there's no applied Gravity to objects .. I've never seen people use wardrobes but it's a good idea to add more siege equipment , and this doesn't even have to be under siege equipment it could even be built under construction !

    Siege can be used both ways also the defenders should be able to put counter siege in thier keep.
    For example a balista in a tower.

    Just had a thirty man siege on the defending side, and it would have been great to have some more defensive options and well as to have the enemy have a larger variety of siege options. I.E. when they started hugging our wall it would have been nice to be able to pour something on top of them. Tabards would have really helped too as the whole thing was chaotic due to nobody being able to tell who's who at range.

    I do think that most of these things are going to be implemented eventually, at least I hope so.

    Akershner, thank you for the feedback.
    It very good that players that really fight those large siege battles reply and let the developers know what is good and bad so they can make this game even better.

    :)

    Siege towers would also be nice add.
    Imo there should be like 3 tier system in the siege weapons.
    For example:

    1tier siege tower would be something ramshackle put together in hurry and can take little beating before going down.
    http://www.customwargameterrain.com/103-large_default/lotr-custom-war-gaming-terrain-orc-siege-tower.jpg

    2tier would be the OK tier tower with some armor and can take decent beating before going down
    http://forum.unity3d.com/attachments/seige_tower_01-600x600-jpg.87510/

    3tier would be the ultimate siege tower that would take lots of work and material to make and would take alot of beating before going down.

    And what comes to the people using the towers and 1tier would need like 6? persons to move it, 2tier would need 8? to move and the 3tier needs like 12? to move it. And maybe just maybe if the add the ballista you should be able to mount the ballista on top of the 3 and 2 tier towers
