We are a great community of players that enjoys both competing against each other and help each other. We have huge battles on Judgement Hour and random fights outside of that time. As the players have a mutual respect for each other, the Admins don't have to intervene all the time and be babysitters.
And that is what we want, for the Admins just to be another player on the map, since we love the game just as much as anyone else.
We are three active Admins on the server. Two of them play as anyone else in a guild, and the third one runs the event area. Our thought of the GM powers are, that we only use them if it is in the interest of the server, so there is NO Admin abuse!
We have decided not to have mines for the same reasons as many other server, conserning the lag it causes. We are looking forward to the time Dev. solve the lag problem. Until then Admins will set your mining skills for you and we use infinity piles on the server (info about that on our steam group). We also give new players a starter pack so they can get a monument, if they like to start for themself.
The event area is a fully GM made area, where we have different competition and tournaments. We have a currency system and different merchants that come by from time to time who sell/buy different things every time.
Our rules reflect, that we expect players to think for themselves. We like the players to act in a way that keeps the community together. So don't come in here, if you need to humiliate and harass other players to boost your ego. Other servers might like such behaviour, but NOT this one.
We have password on the server at night (EU time) and in the weekend. Admins are not always that active at nights so we do that to make sure new players feel welcome.
Weekends are all about preparing for Judgement Hour, so Admin don´t have so much time then, to welcome new players.
