Option to disable mouse edge scrolling

I've just about had my fill of battling with the GUI over what portion of the map I wish to look at, especially when terraforming, due to the mouse edge scrolling. Is there any chance we could see an option added to the main menu options page that will allow us to permanently turn off the mouse edge scrolling of the game screen? Please?
