This Friday 2nd of October the N3CRo LiF server is being relaunched, this time with a few features that will accommodate all players.

The server has been wiped and is being prepared for Friday 2nd of October.

PvE & PvP
This is an old struggle to keep players happy in LiF. Some want to fight and some want to build and live in peace. In the N3CRo Server the small island is a PvE only zone. No fighting and no harassment is allowed. Players won’t be allowed to be in the small island nor visit it if they have a negative alignment. Also, nobody will be allowed to walk around on the small island with equipped weapons.

These rules will create a safe environment for those players that want to enjoy a true PvE experience, without threads, and focus on building or developing their characters in peace and safety.

The big island
All players will be allowed to visit the big island at any time. The big island is a PvP zone. This doesn’t mean that people will fight all the time, but fighting is allowed and can definitely happen for any reason, so be prepared for it!

Players can decide to move from the small island to the big island. However, if they get involved in a fight and their alignment turns negative they will not be allowed back to the small island until their alignment is 0 or higher. They will have to survive in the big island until their alignment is suitable again.

Events
If you played on the N3CRo server before you will remember the giant maze, pirate treasures, the coliseum and the Valar Morghulis server character. These will be back.

Coins
Players will be able to trade with GM by selling their goods for gold coins. Then, players will be able to use those gold coins to buy goods from GM or from other players.

GM intervention policy
In N3CRo server GM is not a player. I do not have friends playing on the server that get special favours. My idea of a GM is very much that a neutral figure in the server, who will only intervene to enforce the rules. Nobody will get special treatment or help. GM is neutral.

Teamspeak
The server has a teamspeak service that all players are allowed to use. If you come with your friends I will give you a channel with your own password, so you can play together without intruders.

Server settings
They will be close to MMO settings. This means people will have to collaborate more. Also, it means that solo bandits will have a very hard time living in their own and just terrorizing everyone. You will need to work as a group if that’s the play-style that you want to have.
