[04 February 2016]
Prosperity started playing on the brand new Duchy of Wessex server.
On this server we are practicing daily PvP and large scale battles. We are having 50 - 64 players on at peak time.

[16 January 2016]
During the General Meeting today, we decided it was time to focus on combat training in preparation for the Beta testing coming in March. As a result, the Practice server is being archived and reset tomorrow to focus on combat techniques and team building. We'll be back on the MMO Prep server as we get closer to full release of Life is Feudal.

[1 December 2015]
With the start of December, the Prosperity Server has made it to the #1 spot on Life-is-feudal.org! We'll be working diligently to keep our server within the top 3, reminding our users that a high ranking server is one of the best ways to recruit new members into the guild. We also plan to create a reward system for those who make it into the top 10 voters of the month, so remember to vote every day!

Our main server to train PvP skills and military techniques in preparation of the upcoming Beta. We're playing here together with a numbers of other guilds to practice PvP on daily basis.

Server Modifications
The server is open to mods to make it easier for guilds to get set up and partake in PvP. The main modification is:
- 1000 Alignment

Server Administration
This server is being provided by Someguy's Gaming Community and hosted by BlueFang Solutions. Someguy's Gaming is a small but fun and dedicated community of gamers hailing from all reaches of the world, that has been around for about 4 years. Currently SGG hosts servers for Life is Feudal, Minecraft, Starmade, Space Engineers and Wurm Unlimited.

Server Rules and Expectations

1. Communication
  • English only in global chat.
  • No swearing, sexism or racism.
  • No spamming or advertisement
2. Gameplay
  • No griefing or abusing game bugs/glitches.
  • No macros with short time intervals
    (less then 3 seconds)
3. Combat
  • No floating siege ladders (made of any object), ladders must be touching the ground.
  • No logging out during combat to escape death.
  • No repeated spawn killing (griefing) of a player/group.

GM Rules and Expectations
۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞

Prosperity places a very high value on fair and ethical play. As such we want GM activities to be highly visible and transparent. Below is a list of GM rules that are strongly enforced to give comfort to all players that admin abuse is not tolerated on the server and to ensure that it remains fair and fun to all. The list of GM rules below states explicitly what can and cannot be done using GM special abilities and commands.

GM Action Log
* All requests for GM actions will be required to be raised and logged in a public forum. The GM will respond accordingly with any actions undertaken in the same log. The log can be found here.

GM Rules
* The primary purpose of having GM powers is to ensure that any bugs or rule breaking on the server are dealt with in an organized manner and to prevent confusion or aggravation of the existing player base. If a GM is found to be abusing their powers, they as a player will be stripped of this power. If the abuse is severe, the GM will be banned from the server itself. If you are unsure if an action is GM abuse or not, contact any online guild leaders or other active GMs.

* Administrative actions in-game must require empirical evidence proving that an individual was responsible for a violation of the rules. This evidence can include the GM witnessing the rule violation itself, or else being provided evidence (such as video or images) of another individual violating that rule. Administrative actions must be dealt based on the existing player rules and not rules that may be pending for approval. The majority of rule violations shall result in a warning and reminder of the server rules, but multiple violations may result in more serious consequences. Players will have one opportunity to appeal a ban, and must do so within 48 hours of the ban taking place.

* Under no circumstances will items be spawned for individual players, ever. Even if the loss of items is due to the result of a game bug, they will not be replaced. 'Lost ' items are too hard to monitor and substantiate that no GM action will be taken, it is a case of player beware. Items may be spawned as special rewards for server events like tournaments , but this will be a rare occurrence in which players will have an equal chance to receive the rewards through scheduled community events.

* Any activity that can be performed by players in game, will be the responsibility of the players. GM rights will not be used for any of these actions. Activities and building using GM rights may occur for server events, but this will be a rare occurrence as part of scheduled community events. All building and activities will be deleted on completion of the event.

* GMs may not manipulate the environment such as terraforming or cutting down trees with any skills they have obtained through the setskill commands available to them, and may not assist players with abilities that GMs possess such as unlimited bag weight and flying.

* GM’s cannot use GM mode on their primary characters, and must instead make a secondary character marked for GM to ensure they don’t gain any benefits on their play characters such as items or experience. GMs may enter GM mode on their primary character rather than logging out and back in during emergencies such as immediate griefing threats, but should immediately leave GM mode once the emergency has passed.

* A GM will not spend more time than necessary as a player with GM activated. Frequently throughout the day, a GM may have to switch to their GM specific character to handle with player requests and server management. Once these matters have been settled and there are none left, they will stop using the GM active player. The GM will not use GM powers to test out server mechanics.

* A GM will not use any information that will give them a tactical advantage over any group or individuals that was gathered while in GM mode. Information such as entrances and exits of settlements, buildings found within those settlements, contents of inventories or containers, or other player information is confidential and should never be shared with any other player.

Server Events

Every Saturday 19:30 there is an open field battles between guilds on the server.
The server will have weekly Judgement Hours on Saturday, 19:30GMT.

Apart from the Judgement Hour, we have frequent events like tournaments. This is a chance for any man to show his fighting skills and win a nice reward.

Future Server Plans
۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞

The goal of this server is to train the guild of Prosperity and all it's friends and allies as best as possible for the MMO. This means frequent changes to settings, possible wipes or change in activity.

In the past few months we spend our time training with a 600 skillcap and 1x skill multiplier to play the game on its default difficulty. To learn how hard it is to build a thriving Economy from scratch.

Now with the MMO Beta coming this March, it's high time to focus on combat techniques and team building. This is why we're going for a more PvP oriented server. We'll bring back the MMO Prep server as we get closer to full release of Life is Feudal.

On the launch of the MMO Beta in March (April for non alpha testers) we'll move over to the Beta. After the Beta ends we'll be moving back to this server.

Where do I start? What an amazing server the guys over at Prosperity have going. It's still only a young server, but the community we have going already is just fantastic, the admins are active on a daily basis and are ready to help with whatever issue you may have.

We've been close friends with Prosperity for some time now, and as Lord of House Reyne I feel compelled to emphasize credit, where credit is due! Really well done!

As previously announced Object Decay will be implemented tomorrow! We will use the lowest rate of 1.

The idea of the server is to learn as much as we can before the MMO, decay is one of the default features in the game. That is why we decided to activate it already.

What decay does is lower the durability of objects and buildings outside your guild claim. It has no effect inside your claim.
In time, when not repaired, these objects will break down and even disappear.

Tonight 22:30 GMT, PvP Tournament at Prosperity's City (South of lake) Free entry, winner gets 50 flux. Plus a bonus fight to win an additional 50 flux.

Rules
- No poison.
- No naphtha grenades.
- Yield, Knockdown or Dead all signify the end of a round.
- Tournament will be 1v1 rounds (Opponents will be chosen randomly)
- No looting bodies except for the final round (will be clarified by a GM)

Prosperity Steam Group
As of right now, we have a new steamgroup, this will be the sole steamgroup for both members and allies of Prosperity. It's an open group, so feel to join up if you are interest in the guild, or it's servers.

Guild Website
This week we launched a new guild website, as to improve the communication within the community.
We encourage all our members to sign up and give their feedback on the site.

The website is currently still under development, we're working hard on finishing it within the next week.
