Would anyone be able to answer a couple of questions about the dedicated server .bat file?

My question pertains to when you issue the quit(); command to the server and close the window, the command prompt asks:

"Terminate batch job?"

I have always said yes and it promptly closes the window. I have now started to append to the .bat file to have it automatically backup the database.

Answering yes to the above question, still closed the .bat with out running my subsequent commands.

My question is: Would there be any damage to the database or other harm if I answered 'no' to the 'Terminate batch job' question, and further would it then proceed to the rest of the commands in the batch file?
