Not really, the simple answer is 1 claim = 1 set of rules.
If you want to help new players but not let them take all your things I suggest making buildings off of a deed. Anyone can access those at anytime, then store your valuables on a deed nearby.
There are a few ways to do it on a deed but you will always need to edit who can do what - random people can't just walk up and use it then. For that the easiest way is to use feudal tools and edit what each player and/or guild can do on your deed. That requires a little bit of work at first to setup but it's a nice system.

Changing the default 'red' server to a 'green' server will allow personal claims I believe, which would let you make certain tiles (and things on them) off-limits.
