Hey everyone,

We’ve just applied a patch, which will hopefully significantly reduce the amount of server lag that randomly occurs with horses and players in places that are densely occupied by movable objects. You might see that in some cases physical (collision) precision of some objects have degraded, but we do not expect that it will affect your gameplay.

We are still working on finding the exact issues that are causing these problems and hope this offers a better level of playability until a more permanent solution can be found.

Excellent news. Will this also save the thousands of horses who have died crossing server cluster boundaries? If not, how goes the effort in this area?

it changed nothing in 42 lag was back after 200 players joined server


it was perfect fine when player amount was below in the first 10 mins

This patch appears to have done the opposite. Instead of improving the lag it has now made the game unplayable. I was getting around 70-100 ping at times, now its between 2700-3000 all the time. This is on server 6.

At this point Arrakis, would it make more sense to shut down the beta test until the issue is fixed? Monuments are still chewing through points, and the animals we have built back up will be dying once again.
