Admin Tool

Post by Olgale » 02 Feb 2015, 19:20

I have prepared this simple admin tool.
(The changes are only active after the beneficiary logs in again).
Management skills, inventory, etc. is then very easy.

I have worked a lot on it.
I give it away for free. I am looking forward to a PayPal donation.

DOWNLOAD:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/jvzi522z9ah3s5d/LifAdmi070215.zip
Unzip the Java-File and the Lib in a Directory.

You need Java 8 (http://java.com/de/download/).

Looks Amazing DL and trying now.

thank you must have been a lot of work.

tried it on my test server and worked great. but when i tried to enter the info for the other server it wouldn't take it. so i cleaned the reg, restarted comp (after deleting the folder) and now it won't open at all.

Awesome tool :)
Any chance for the combat skills btw?

Having real trouble making an SQL query to insert chainmail for every characterID for example. The trouble lies where I need to compare the characterID (which have orders like 3,4,5,8,32 etc) and use that to add the skill for everyone.

I found out why I couldn't reopen the file, its because I accidently saved the wrong configuration... I changed my password to match what it was trying to do and launched it from the command line with java -jar LifAdmin.jar and it seems to work fine now that I reset the configuration to the right settings.... don't know how to delete the settings otherwise though =\

Ah, thank you. That would explain why it would persist through reinstalling Java lol.

I would advise caution using this. Any software that externally accesses your DB is a security risk and inserting into databases from such external software is liable to corrupt your database. Make backups frequently.

It's useful. thanks again for making it. it's easier to give items to players with this than through HeidiSQL. would love to see the combat skills and rest of the items added. the only issue i've had is the duplicate entries for some of the tools. if you choose the wrong one it show as a ? in a box and you have to use Heidi to delete them. But yes. i am using it and so far its pretty good.

thanks again.

The unzip where you want. Double click on the Jar file and the program starts. Of course you have to have Java updated to version 8.

Mahlzeit,
