Among The Shadows has been established as a clan for approximately 11 years and in that time we've grown from a simple idea between two experienced gamers to a solid core of people interested in making ATS the best clan around. Our members play all games ranging from MMOs to First person shooters and everything in between. In the games we play as a guild all aspects are covered; people that dedicate themselves to crafting for instance can be richly rewarded from the clan by having materials funneled to them to help in advancement. Those that look forward to slaying that massive end game dragon or clearing that epic dungeon will have a solid guild behind them helping them to etch their names into the halls of glory. Those that enjoy the hunt, like myself will find that ATS is a clan full of dedicated Pvpers who log in game with no more on their mind then finding the next target. We truly do have something for everyone"

Everyone stands on their own merit.
We have always had a ranking system that grows and evolves with the clan's needs. The ranks are not filled solely on the basis of seniority, but allow those who express maturity, intelligence, talent, strategy, etc. the opportunity to get the rank that's best for them and the clan. The clan as a whole benefits from this process.

We're organized and experienced.
All of our members have some level of experience in online gaming, and a wide variety of skills they bring to the table. Many of them are very experienced, and every one of them is willing to help newcomers. Many of them excel at learning and applying specific game knowledge making them excellent PvE group coordinators. Many of them find their niche leading our raiders into battle against other players. No matter what you excel at, you will find ATS has a meaningful place for you among its ranks.

We don't discriminate against anyone.
Many clans set a hard and fast age limit. We do not and we never will. This game is for everyone…thus our clan can also be for everyone. Our only requests from our members are that they be mature, respectful, and cooperative and that they recognize that the things they do reflect on their clan and clan mates. Everyone should be willing to teach and learn, and this concept doesn't change with your age.

We are selective of our recruits.
People come to us because we are a quality clan with quality members. We don't simply click "Yes" to everyone who tosses an application our way. We have, and will continue to turn down applicants who don't express a value for cooperation and respect. Qualities that ATS prides itself on.

We're dedicated to our goals.
It is a clan that makes a goal a reality. Unlike many clans that come and go, our almost 100 member player base has as much respect and dedication to the members of our clan, as they do for the clan itself. As you help us build, you will become part of something everyone will come to enjoy.

We have humble roots. But from those humble roots has grown a force that in every game we have come across, has become one to be reckoned with.

to one of the first, if not the "server first" Battleground Domination (Thanks Viperior, you rock dude)
and the list goes on even to this day.

A lot of members have taken a very keen interest in the game already just from what little is shown, the rest will surely jump on the bandwagon avidly as it gets closer to launch.

All depends on how the game actually is, of course we are quite hopeful and enjoy supporting the community pre-alpha but our full strength won't show up until we have the game to play.

ATS has been following this game with great interest for a long time. We have always been active in MMOs and games like Mount and Blade and Chivalry. That sets the stage for our entire group of 100+ or so to be very involved pre-release as we have been in countless other alphas/betas in the form of testers or even Game Moderators and Development.

We look forward to seeing some of the other guilds we know from past games and have high hopes for LiF. The combination of Formations and PvP, crafting and Forming set a high standard to live up to. We cant wait to see how it turns out, and help where ever we can.

If you are looking for a respectful group of players that gets shit done, then this is the guild for you. I’ve been playing MMO’s for over 10yrs, during which time I have been apart of several different guilds, but since joining ATS, I know that no matter what game I play I will have a good group of people to play with. There is a mix of play styles within the guild, from pure crafters to pure PvPers. We feel that everyone should be able to play the game as they see fit, so long as they contribute to the overall good of the guild. There is a long tradition in ATS of crafters and PvPers supporting each other in a mutually beneficial relationship. We also accept people of various play times (both time zone and time spent in game) for example, I used to be a rather hardcore player, but have since taken on more personally commitments that limit my play time. Despite my drop in activity, there was never any issues with the guild, we realize that real life comes first. As long as you are respectful of other people and contribute to the guild when you can, I’m sure there is a place for you in ATS.

Our acceptance of various play styles does not diminish our ability to dominate on the battlefield, far from it. It is our diversity that gives us strength. The hardcore PvPers in the guild take their role very seriously and have honed their skills through countless hours of combat. The crafters supply our PvPers and PvEers with the best gear for combat and dungeon crawling, both groups, in turn, supply our crafters with the best mats they can find.

We are not just about PvP, nor are we focused only on PvE or crafting. We are ATS and I encourage anyone capable of mutual respect to check us out.

sad to say my introduction to LiF was a video which at the time i deemed not worth my time, this video of which i found when they first posted it. I unfortunately wrote off the game until it advanced a bit further, finding and being reintroduced to the game again around october or so of 2013. Im glad to had found it again and bring the light of this game to the others in my clan. I hope the clan brings a heavy presence to the community during all phases of this games life, hopefully shaping it for the better.
