The launcher tells me "Buy" instead of "Play".

According to Steam forums, I am not the only one (another guildie is affected as well).

Whatever happened on the backend, kindly please turn the knob the other way again :/

Update: 3 guildies and me affected, I tried on my laptop - same problem. My wife was ingame ... she is not affected (yet)

Sign in with steam (icon) --> redirect to steam website, login in steam --> Then Play button is lit and you can play

Temporary Fix aint working for Everyone Unfortunately

If Friend Starts over the Steam Folder. Its not loading the Steam and Facebook Logins etc.
So he cant use the Temporary Fix.

Others cant either it seems.

But seriously. Out of all Bugs I ever saw. In terms of being annoying. Nothing beats Starting a game you Paid for and it telling you to Buy the Game if you want to Play xD

Fix worked! But if i started Game new, I got same problem again.

Also having this issue. I feel like I get constantly shit on trying to log in to this game. no problems when im in game but trying to get past the launcher seems to be a large portion of the problems i face. weather its the launcher creating lag in game. the long super slow daily downloads. or just not even being able to click the play button. my caveman brain is telling me that your launcher needs to be fixed, and not the game.

For a lot of people in my guild the fix does not work, the launcher does not show any of the buttons and the sign in stays greyed out.

Just saw this fix on the LiF Discord channel and it worked for me.

Go to your Game Folder (SteamLibrary > SteamApps > Common > Life is Feudal MMO)

Find "launcher_settings.ini" file. Delete it.

Start the launcher from that folder (launcher.exe).

If it asks you to locate where the game is, it's in SteamLibrary > SteamApps > Common > Life is Feudal MMO > game > na (or eu). Just select that folder, and done!
