Will/Does this game have a currency system that we can smelt so we can eventually trade without having to barter?

It does not.
Yes it will. Not sure on any ETA.
Better trade system than drop bag / wait and hope on other guy to drop items promised is in the works. :crazy:
oh, smelt coin? don't think so, that would lead to forgery! :)
