I can't get my Steam client to even connect today. Server ran just fine. Steam network seems to be down yet again. Uninstalled Steam to address the issue. My desktop shortcut to running the server is now gone. If uninstalling Steam removed my LiF server files I am litterally going to take a dump on my monitor.
EDIT: It was ProtectDisc (Steam's VAC) when I changed from PS2 mouse to USB mouse it locked me out. Uninstalling protectdisc and reinstalling it and on 3rd login attempt was the only way to get the steam network to work.

The only reason I got a Steam account is because some games are forcing me to use it...
Was pissed when I bought a boxed version of Skyrim and had to download it on Steam to play...
