We just almost finished the castle wall around our settlement.And we found a serious problem that anyone could dig a tunnel to get in our castle while we are absent at midnight . If this happens all the time ,what's the use of wall anyway?


And we can't terraform anymore around the tunnel some other molesters built within our territory.So just wonder if we could anything about this kind of grief

The key problem is: While there is a digging hole near the wall, we can't build wall because of the blocking terrain, and the digging hole can't be filled up,the digging hole won't disapear

Build them on raised land which immediately slopes down at the edge of the wall. This requires more effort but you can find a few place on the map already where you only need to lower some of the surrounding tiles so it's not too bad.

If you do this then a Sapper can tunnel under but won't be able to climb up into your keep (at least not without many days of effort)

At some point when decay and buinding destruction is implemented, Tunnels will collapse if not maintained.

At least that is what I am understanding from the Terraforming skill's milestone text.
