All the time when opening map. Game crashes. What you can recommend with that issue ?

Either OBS or other capture software or antivirus are blocking the map.

I am having the same issue; I am not running OBS. Any ideas?

*EDIT, the issue also seems to happen when I try to access the shop or inventory.

The game gives me the loading circle of death followed by kicking me out and giving me the following error:

Did you try your antivirus? I had to disable Windows Defender to get the map to work. However, it was only after a restart of the game. It appears that initializing the map only occurs once on restart, that could be incorrect, but restarting and disabling antivirus fixed it.

I do not have Windows defender, but I am using AVAST and will try to disable that.

I did restart the game (or rather the game keeps crashing) I also just got kicked while trying to put a horse in my inventory. (Hopefully its not stolen while I try to reload)

It appears (for now) that the issue was the RealTek Audio Manager. It somehow got downloaded on my computer the other day and has been constantly popping up. I just deleted it and my game is now running fine.

Well, things were all good last night. I log in today and the "M" crash started up again. I verified that I do not have RealTek installed and Windows Defender is perm disabled. Back to square one

On the bright side I am admittingly a wallet warrior, at least this is going to save me money for a while (can't login to the store)

Bump? Have no access to map in game or any of the stores inventory. No boosting, no skins, ect, just the promise of crashing everytime I smack the "m" key out of reflex.

Could you send us logs from the times when your game crashes?

Here you go. To make it easier I deleted everything LiF related. Did a complete reinstall. Ensured windows defender was still disabled and I turned off the Avast Firewall. Logged into game, hit "m", and here is the log from the instacrash.

While we are investigating this issue, make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Same with OBS if you're using one.

Having the same issue, opening the map "m", the itemshop as well as clicking the preview buttons ('load") in the equipped inventory tab or the Help menu prompts the game to crash.
Fairly certain opening the Market would crash too, just haven't had the time to visit an outpost yet, tho.

I do however get at least a series of error messages.



So far, downloaded the mentioned .dll files into the game directory.
Updated the graphics drivers (dual graphic cards on laptop).
Looked for any realtek audio thingies (i have none).
Looked for OBS thingies as well as disabling antivirus and firewall programms.
Noone of the mentioned methods above showed any effect.

Not trying to highjack OPs thread, just thought the problem was kinda similar.
I'll try a bit more before opening a ticket or thread myself (or hopefully find a solution on this thread).

Alright, problem solved (or rather, solved itself).
Appearently, it got fixed somewhen last month.
Map (still takes a couple of seconds the first time it opens after each launch), Market thingy trading post, as well as itemshop all all functional now.
