Not so much a new idea as a mechanical suggestion and inquiry, I suppose. I think nearly every game that I have played, that has horse drawn wagons/carts, designs the wagons so that the shafts (that the horse is attached to) are not a part of the cart, but move separately. (Wurm Online actually does wagons in a realistic "correct" way, but most do it with is "jointed" feature.) This creates an weird fish-tailing effect and is hard to control, imho. Maybe there is a reason for choosing to do it this way, but it is not realistic as in real life the shafts are a part of the wagon and don't move separately from the body of the vehicle. Is it possible to change this? Or is there some reason for making them move in this "jointed" manner?
Also an option to turn off the "camera-sway" would be nice.
Otherwise, good work!
