[ QUESTION]long terms gameplay and ressources

Post by AirOne13 » 24 Sep 2014, 19:51

i was wondering how will you manage to keep the terrain valide in the MMO version of the game , the ressources do not respawn by themselvs and we cant make minerals by our own , i was wondering how will you manage to make the resources not diseapear completely from the game after some years of gameplay ? maybe , and how will you make the terrain change , ? will the map look like a cheeze later ? because of random minners ?

sorry for my bad grammar

That's the beauty of Life is Feudal, minerals will not respawn nor will be respawned. Exploited areas will remain exploited, so the economy thanks to that will run really nice as certain groups or guilds will hold control over some area rich in wanted resources and that will allow them to set their prices which will allow them to become awefully rich and have a giant kingdom or whatever they will want to achieve.

But do not worry, there will be a lot of there resources in the ground:

  • Iron ore deposits (cubic meters): 2 686 160 196
  • Copper ore deposits (cubic meters): 1 585 786 189
  • Silver ore deposits (cubic meters): 17 192 576
  • Gold deposits (cubic meters): 8 103 766

It will literally take possibly a decade or more to mine all this out. And finding it mainly is really hard, so people will rather try to use it properly, either for crafting and building or trading.
