Above is a link to the reddit post I've made for this, but I thought I would make post here to get opinions from as many folks as possible.

I'm looking to get opinions for key areas on the map ambiguous of any server specific politics. I have a map that can be seen HERE for the currently accepted area names. If you think you have a better name for an area LET ME KNOW!

Make a screenshot of the map and name them. It's what we did. The big mountain in the northeast is Mt. Wanahockaloogie.

Just thought I would revisit this post and state i have the baseline and thank you to all who sent messages or posted on reddit.

The clean map is on the link in the OP if anyone would like to use.

the ingame map really needs some kind of grid. that would improve many things related to reading the map and finding locations.
with that said, good job on the current map-image. very useful

Your names are cartoonish. Not everyone is into silly RP. I think it's great that you came up with names that work for you, and I hope that it gives you genuine pleasure to do so, but I'll keep calling the lake "the lake", the big mountain "the big mountain", the island "the island" and so on.

In an MMO, common names make sense, but in "Your Own", just make your own.
