My idea about living in „LiF”
1. MAP
Map should be divided between NPC’s domains, maybe 3 or 4. They should have different religions and quite different structure. The basis of so called structure should be a feudal model, vassals, seniors and etc. At the beginning I must say, that in first steps of this game we have a very small amount of players. If you image a “domain” with 40-50 peoples in guild just do not read it! Let’s proceed. As you can see on the map( beneath the paragraph) we have a random continent it’s not about the shape of it, but the idea of the Empires. Let’s say we have 4 kingdoms: “a”, “b”, “c” and “d”. They have their own Emperor which cannot be replaced by any player. This domains may and even have to fight between each other, making agreements and so on. The every Empire should have 3 to 5 protected and unconquerable cities/castles and a few on borders which can be conquered. Inside borders players will suffer by killing others which belongs to one kingdom and allied one, not by killing enemies, so If someone killed his “brother” he may become a target from Bounty Hunters. It raises the idea of system of bounties. Let’s get back to our map. Now I must mention about the land outside borders. When the guild will grow enough to be separate from NPC’s they can cancel vassal agreement and move outside to build their own domain, they can of course try to do it at the beginning of it existence. They will explore new lands and so on. After some time it will force Bobik’s Team to add more and more space for pioneers.
2. NPC’s and players Empires
Let’s image a small group of peoples, which want to make their domain from foundations. So they can join NPC Empire and now the fun is starting. They must start as Guild, like Merchant Guild or Mercenaries Group and they may stay at this level and do their job, trading, crafting or fighting for money. Is they successfully hit ten member they can upgrade the Guild to independent kingdom or join as vassal to one of existing domain of NPCs or players. The point of player vassal is an agreement between them so it don’t need some permanent system, but if they join NPC they have some commitments and privileges. They must apply as future vassal and wait for respond. It should be random do the Emperor will accept it, if so we can take a part in many features, like wars, trade inside this domain and get stabilised and good prices for it. Every participation in domain’s activities will be rewarded of course, for example: the village need 200 logs of oak wood, if players will help the village they will acquire other resource which is full in this place, it will be managed by trade of course. Now I must say, that I know the point of devs, the game must be determined and build by players and it will be. After some time, maybe year or so this Empires will be totally marginalized by big player’s domain, it is clear and this system will not change it, it is just a new, really big feature which can bring a lot of fun and players whom don’t want to only be focused on building and fighting and sometimes crafting. In this way, the game will become boring.

3. Small historical note
I must mention here something. Yesterday I was chatting with Arrakis about this ideas and he told me something like this, “ You must realised what “Life is Feudal” title mean”, so I’m going to do it. When we think about feudal life we see a big kingdoms rules by great kings which have a lot of vassals and that is true. Arrakis told me, that the game will have only one big town and other things will be created by players. In medieval times, to create your own domain you had to have some fellows, peoples to command, or you will be conquered by neighbouring factions. This system at the beginning will force players (after release) to be ensured, that they are safe and well organised to make their own. In other case, we will have just a few big factions which will bullying newbies to join them and work, that will completely destroy they society and in more advanced level, the game. Devs, please think about it!
4. Other features
This combination, which I mentioned will provide a big stabilisation for new players and new objectives as well as new way to become rich.

- Mercenaries
- Bounty hunters
- Trade trusts
- Deeds/quests for factions
- Having fun in Empires wars
These are just a few examples, but the players will discover more.
