Griefing possibilities I can already forecast

Post by Seppuku » 14 Mar 2014, 22:05

So with the current system of guilded land claim over non guilded let me point out a few potential griefs I can already think of.

So in the middle of the night a guild comes in and steals your land out from under you with a magic monument stone. The next day you log on and all around your former claim the enemy guild has built walls, and they keep calling you Spot. I hope you enjoy your new life as a pet...

They have effectively just stolen your home, everything in it, and taken you prisoner without any risk.

So basically your answer is
"Screw you solo player! Quit if you don't like being griefed!"

It's attitudes like that making sure that the sandbox FFA game stays a niche market.

The more you defend this position the more i think you're one of those griefers who just loves to make players quit the game.

Once again you say that were suggesting a peasant can conquer guilded lands which NO ONE has suggested.

Are you the head developer? Do they like it when you DICTATE what type of game this is?

IF this game were what you think it is there would be NO Unguilded players.

Prot,

Nowhere does it say that

In fact the first line in game info Key Features says:

"Life is Feudal is a Realistic, Medieval, Hardcore, Sandbox MMORPG. No more, no less! And our features prove it all."

Which means groups of people could not take a solo persons home by building a stone and clicking a button on it. They would have to fight them off of it.

Once the solo persons home is not 100% safe we'll talk.

Until then ignoring both of you. o/

We both agree prot that a personal claim should not make the things on it automatically invulnerable to attack.

But the way around that shouldn't be a magic rock

I don't think you can actually own enough land to achieve anything worthwhile solo.
It's simply not possible to play this game alone. At least not if you want to enjoy all of it.

That is correct, and the topic that Proximo is referring is here: serious-concern-can-a-realm-steal-a-personal-cl-t878/
