How long does it usually take for Bobbik to confirm it? And how is alpha atm? Playable at all? Is there a big world, or just a slice of it open to us? Can we mess around with terraforming, crafting, combat etc?

That depends, but you surely won't be waiting for long, couple of days maybe. Bobik is now concentrating on fixing the technical issues on the server.

And I forgot to mention that there is still some work to be done before alpha will officialy start, it should happen next week most likely.

Basic features like terraforming etc. is working, but you will see full list of implemented features once you will get access to closed alpha testing forum.

There is no NDA, people are free to post gameplay from alpha so you will be able to feast your eyes very soon.

On the note of alpha donations bobik has been incredibly good with them, i made my donation and was cleared within 4-7 hours, even had a chat with bobik through IM.

Lol.. thanks for the welcome and the link. I should have been more clear.

When trying to use paypal as described, I have to choose to sends funds either to friends/family or business.. does it matter which is chosen?
