This is BAD. The land should not be cut off like this.
Compared to the old generator, it is improved in that the map doesn't contain obscure shapes anymore, but there's still some work to be done here.
This is also an example why I don't like an island concept. If the generated map was solid landmass with just invisible borders at the edges of playable area (with sea being hardcoded on one side for example since harbor plays essential role), this wouldn't be a problem.

I agree on last post, map generator doe not know the difference between flat and hill/mountain, it all looks the same to me, just some have more lumps that others, and no decently flat areas either. You all can do better than that, starting area sucks to, most of the time one has to start terraforming right off the start.

Bump. This has been completely ignored. Why? The generated maps are super ugly. I don't think this is a minor thing.

It will be fixed, but sometime later, because currently, the priorities are crashfixes etc.
