For all who are playing on the NA server I want to invite you to join me on the LiF Discord server on the 12th of November at 2 PM CST for a meeting of all those who want to come together and discuss an opportunity to create a positive start to the OBT.

This is not an effort to create an uber alliance, but as a meet and greet to hear from everyone who intends to join the NA OBT. There will be many groups that wish to go it alone and that's great, but over the past few weeks I've had conversations with a lot of communities that want to work together.

We may end up as enemies, friendlies or simple neutral on opposite ends of the map, but if we get together and talk we'll at least have set a precedence for meeting up to discuss conflict.

The agenda is simple:

1. Fair Play Agreement - We'll post a thread for folks to show support for policing themselves against cheaters/exploiters. There's no way to enforce it, but committing to it as individual groups will create a healthier community.

2. Community/Alliance Introductions - Allow folks a 30 to 60 second open mic to introduce what their group is looking for and provide some contacts for people looking to work with others.

3. Acknowledge Clean Slates - Affirm that anything that happened between groups in YO stays there and we start with a clean slate; again not enforceable, but encouraged.

If you want to RSVP, please respond so we can measure interest and start building a contact list for folks interested in having these conversations ahead of time.

A wonderful idea, it might be worth considering making a temporary Discord for this to be able to deal with the occasional troll disrupting that summit

Looking forward to meeting with everyone tomorrow. We will recommit to bringing a positive experience to the MMO from those of us who met previously regarding the Beta and welcome those who are new to the community.

One group can't make this happen, it will take the major actors in the community to bring about a positive environment.

We're running out of time (which is a good thing for our impatience), but the goal is to do these periodically. There wasn't anything spectacular that came out of it and the conversation is ongoing in the Fairplay Agreement thread:

That's the best place to pick up on anything you may have missed in the summit.
