The problem is, when you try to get a horse out of the small stable it tells you that there are no riding horses in there. If you keep a horse in your inventory and you select the option 'get horse' then it shows the horse you already have on you.

Also when you leave the horse at the small stable it puts it in your inventory.

It looks like that it's checking your inventory instead of the small stable.

Same issue. When attempting to use "get horse" or maybe it actually says remove horse, it always gives response no rideable horses available. I used to have to log into breeder to pull them for people. Now we have enough in carts that the stables are just for breeding.

This particular feature will require some fixes from our side. But right now it's not a top priority issue. We will look into it once we deal with the most severe, game breaking issues.

as i understand it, it has something to do with the issues that until you have the skill to open the stable, your client honestly believes it is empty. could be wrong tho

This is actually searching for the horse in your inventory, not in the stable.

Any chances of this getting fixed in the near future? Does the same problem exist with the big stable?

We are breeding and controling the content of stables, I wouldnt want people to randomly pull our best breeding stallion out for riding with...

Maybe if there is a new building called "Riding Stables", and we would put the low quality horses we want people to have for riding there. But then again, we can just use a warehouse for that.

Stables are not, I repeat, NOT for horse storage. If you store them in there, you are literally killing your horses. If you take them from there, you are doing considerable damage to your guild. If you need house storage, build a warehouse or carts. Stables are for your breeders to use to supply the guild with horses and nothing more.
