LiF: Your Own - how customizable will it really be ?

I've got a few questions about private servers and how much administrators will be able to customize.

Are we going to be able to design our own maps ? Or at least choose which 3x3km square from the main map we can play in ?
Do we have to build everything from scratch or can I build a starter town with admin tools ?

Are we going to be able to define "groups" of users and give them different starting gear / spawn point ?
That would allow the admin to create some sort of faction system, even without the Guild Claims and everything.

Crafting period (burning of fuel, smelting etc)(Seconds):
Animal Breeding/Feeding period (Minutes):
Plants Growth period (trees and crops)(Hours):
Wild animals amount (Warning! Large amount of animals may result in a server lags!):


These are current settings we plan. Additionally server owner will have GM power and will be able to grant them to other players, so you can build and terraform whatever you want relatively fast.

There will be only 1 map (newbie island), because it designed to be sufficient for everything, while global map 3*3 km parts might lack some resources.

No additional customization is planned so far.
