Would you guys please align yourself with a decent hosting company for LiF:YO, you might even be able to work out an affiliate commission program with them.

I have no idea if these guys are any good, but I do have a Rust server through them and its extremely easy to set everything up. A matter of minutes and your online and that's with 0 networking/server hosting experience (Me)

hosting from ones own computer is a neat feature, but not practical for most players.

Yep, it's not very practical to leave your PC on 24/7...

But I'm sure they are aware of that and have something planned.

We just plan to have a dedicated server available, so those hosting services can grab it and set it up as a service. It works the same way for all those Rust, Minecraft, DayZ etc. servers AFAIK.
