The title says it all, I'll support you guys but I want to be able to play any time. I think a lot of people are in my shoes and will agree.

Yeah, that's kind of where I am. I'm hoping an announcement comes soon about a more persistent playtime. But from what I've understood its random and only for a few hours. I work too much to even consider trying to get into those.

I'm sure this will happen at some point. Question is when.

I had a longish thing written out but it was basically about how the developers may feel that the game is not good enough for them to leave it up 24/7 or through into open/alpha or even closed beta. When they feel the servers will survive, bugs to do with crashing and freezing are obliterated and some key game features are strongly put into place then that's when I think the devs will feel that the game is good enough for a bigger mass of people to enjoy, and ultimately love.

So I wait for a day that the game will be up 24/7 and that I can join a battle of 200v200 without worry of a crash or bug... Or wonky combat.

But I do second the idea of leaveing servers up for quite a while. But no need to rush... But don't you dare take a super long time. If I see it turn beta in 2 years....

Guys, we'be been waiting for Alpha since the beginning of the year. Not speaking about the registration date :D Be patient.
The game is much more stable than ever before, yet people report on FPS loss at some events, ans servers are crashing. Expecting closed alpha to start any moment.

As Telakh said, servers are more stable than few months before, but still there is A LOT work to do. They are working on fixing bugs and on LiF:YO simultaneously so it might take a while until servers will be stable enough to run them 24/7. Most likely scenario is that closed alpha will start after release of LiF:YO on Steam Early Access, because then devs will be able to fully concentrate on the MMO.

Closed alpha after YO early access ?! That means this autumn ? D:

I'm okay with waiting. But I'd like to see day/night cycle soon. It was already announced.

Day and night cycle is on the top of priority list along with ranged combat and will be most likely implemented upon releasing LiF:YO on Steam Eearly Access.

I think we all are, it's all a question of when the developers feel their baby is ready to walk instead of crawl. It's up to them.
