Anyway.
Has Bobik and team, decided what they will do about 3rd party transactions? How will they affect the game? Is it worth the resources(man power) to try an stop them?
Obviously, gold spammers are annoying, but even companies like blizzard still have a hard time dealing with them. Can they be stopped? Should they be stopped?
Honestly, I am a supporter of 3rd party transactions, I understand why many are not, but that reason is mostly why I am.. I have a lot less time to game these days now that I have responsibilities, such as a wife, a daughter, and a business that needs to be ran, so why should I be punished for not having the 10 hours a day to play that I once had or some, hermit, lazy ass, kid leaving with there parents, or anyone else that has that kind of time? Basically it levels the playing field.
So whats my point?: How bad would it be for the game? what sort of game breaking things could happen with 3rd party transactions going on? Should Bobik and team sell in game currencies along with their cosmetics? Trust me, even if you didn't want it to happen it is going to, better to think about how to work with it then to work against it.
But overall, just curious what the rest of the community thinks about the subject... Has anyone used Playerauctions?
