I remember previously donating 10 dollars through PayPal in order to get access to an early build of the game. I played for a few weeks and then my interest sort of waned.

I read this on the 02.09.2014 update:

"Unfortunately due to our limited server capabilities we have to cease alpha tests of LiF:MMO in order to run official LiF:YO servers on these servers. IF things go good, we plan to bring LiF:MMO servers up and ready for tests as soon as possible.

As a compensation, current Alpha testers will receive CD keys for both testing and release versions of LiF:YO. We really looking forward for your help to test out LiF:YO with us."

Does this mean I own a copy of LiF:YO? Was I considered an Alpha tester for donating 10 dollars? Or what my donation just a donation to get early build access?

I just want to make sure I don't purchase the game if I already have a copy of it. Thanks for the answers.

Your name is not yellow so you're not an alpha tester... I don't know about getting anything for 10 bucks.
You'll be a tester for $70 (50€ to be precise)

Maybe you are thinking of Gloria Victis, in which I think a $10 donation is the minimum to gain access to alpha.

Yup, seems like that is an issue I failed to find any traces of his payments and anyway - we never had accepted 10$ as payment for Alpha.
